Tithing and Babysitting

I have been M.I.A. for a long time but life has been busy. On August 8, 2009, I got married to a boy (refer to picture on left). I was very excited about getting married but some fears still remained going into my wedding day. Things like "will I still like this boy once I'm married?" and "what if he drives me crazy?" The answers are yes I still like this boy and yes he still drives me crazy.

Brian remains unemployed and we are attempting to live life on loans and my $300.00/month. How do we do that, you ask? I have two words: tithing and babysitting. I only say that because I just paid my tithing and I was worried about the fact that I needed that money for bills and such and I just didn't have enough money. Shortly after I paid the tithing I received some very lucrative babysitting jobs. They were long and challenging but in the end, I was able to come up with exactly the amount I needed. As for Brian's financial quandaries, well he has some seemingly endless loans. And apparently we have to pay those back. Good news is that I will start my internship in November and hopefully be employed with a salary job come March.

Anyways, to all my single Mormon friends, specifically girls--GET MARRIED!! It's the most amazing thing ever. And you don't even totally realize it until you're in it. Life becomes so interesting after marriage. It's a poor life but it's our life. And it's a good life. Maybe I can tell of some fun marriage stories in later posts.
